Wedding Elopements

An elopement should be exciting, fun, intimate, and of course, very, very romantic.  By its very nature an elopement is usually short and intense, but also memorable and really fun!  Although the words spoken during an elopement are certainly important, it is the overall emotion of the moment that will make it memorable.

I would love to be a part of that intensely happy and exciting and romantic time in your life by being the person who walks you over the threshold of marriage and guides you and your partner through the most important words of your life, “I do.”

What/Ceremony Elements

An elopement or short ceremony usually lasts 5-12 minutes and can include just the basics that make it legal, or it can include a lovely unity ritual, poem and blessing.

I have used a number of beautiful locations in and around the Fort Collins area and I can direct you to a park setting, along a river, a lakeside or within a wooded forest.  If you prefer your own backyard or local brew pub…I will meet you there.  I can also climb to the top of a mountain to pronounce you man and wife, but the price would reflect the time needed to get there.  Any location within 30 minutes of where I live falls into the lower part of the price structure I have indicated. My favorite time for a wedding is dusk, but I can do a sunrise as well.  I am very flexible with time, although I do not perform elopements and short ceremonies on Saturdays.

The classic definition of an elopement would have only three people in attendance…myself and the two of you.  But elopements are not what they used to be and sometimes guests are invited.  I do not limit how many people attend a wedding in this price range, I only ask that we start on time and will charge accordingly after a delay of 20 minutes.

Call me!  At that time we will ask each other questions to make sure we are the right fit for each other.  I will ask you some questions that will help me show up with the perfect ceremony for you.  I will also take your credit card number as security.  I will collect cash at the wedding site directly before the ceremony.

What else

I can arrange for a photographer to be there also if you would like.  I can work on a very short notice, but if you are planning ahead I may ask for a deposit to hold the space.

Elopement or short wedding:  $125-$250, depending on location.
